This was the first Malka Sima I ever experienced, at the Sacred Sheep fiber event 2025, and it has haunted me in the best way ever since. As an olfactory experience, Sacred Sheep is meadows-edge-at-dusk sexy, a little feral, rustic, like what the wife of Beorn from Middle Earth might smell like. As an olfactory painting, the textures and colors of cozy warmth in the midst of wilderness emerges, earthy the way fragrant ash is earthy, very very slightly boozy like an almost overripe stonefruit. Sacred Sheep will linger the way woodsmoke lingers, nostalgic without the ache. A masterpiece (like EVERYTHING Malka Sima has made, frankly!)
